This is a large, unusual evergreen which forms an open, see-through, pyramidal shape with a straight trunk. The triangular leaves are dark green, stiff and sharp-tipped, densely arranged on horizontal, irregular, upwardly sweeping branches. Pet and breakage resistant, and moderately drought tolerant.
